Each person sees what their role allows: deans and principals the whole institution, heads of department their department, faculty their students and courses, wardens their hostel, and students their own learning.
Parents get a separate login to follow their ward's attendance, performance and leave. Users, batches and enrolments can be imported in bulk from spreadsheets.
