Methodder Paperless Exam replaces paper answer booklets with tablets. Students answer MCQs and write theory answers by hand with a stylus in the same sitting, on ruled, plain or graph sheets with a rough sheet and geometry tools, and sign the cover page on screen.

Invigilation is built in: tablets run in lockdown mode, invigilators follow the hall live, malpractice is recorded on the spot, and sealed university question papers are released only at the scheduled time.

Evaluation happens on screen. Internal and external evaluators see anonymised booklet codes instead of names, mark question by question against an answer scheme, and work through their allocations by a deadline. When evaluation is complete, the controller of examinations approves the marks and they are written into the ERP mark sheets in one step.

Evaluators see booklet codes, never names or roll numbers.

  • Flexible allocation

Allocate whole booklets or single questions to internal or external evaluators, with deadlines.

  • Answer schemes

Attach a model answer to every question so marking stays consistent.

  • Evaluation reports

Track evaluator progress, pace and marking consistency.

Questions colleges ask us

Didn't find your question? We are happy to walk you through it on a call.

Ask us anything
Do students need their own tablets?

Paperless writing is designed for tablets with a stylus, usually provided by the institution. MCQ sections also work on phones.

Can evaluators tell whose script they are marking?

No. Booklets are identified by codes; names and roll numbers are hidden throughout evaluation.

Can external examiners evaluate remotely?

Yes. They get an evaluator login that shows only the booklets or questions allocated to them.

Is there still a paper record?

Any booklet can be exported as a PDF for records and audits.

How do marks reach the ERP?

Once evaluation is finalised, the controller of examinations approves the marks and they are written into the ERP mark sheets in one step.
