Methodder PG Logbook
Every residency requirement, tracked from day one.

Methodder PG Logbook is a digital logbook built for postgraduate residents under the NMC Postgraduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023 (PGMER-2023). Each resident has a workspace with their training details, supervisor and department, and records daily activities, postings, procedures and AETCOM work as they happen.
The logbook covers the whole residency: thesis milestones, the District Residency Programme, research and publications, internal assessments, academic activities, undergraduate teaching, mandatory certifications and leave. Faculty review and authenticate entries every month, so the record is verified as the residency progresses rather than at the end.
An exam eligibility dashboard brings the PGMER-2023 gates together, showing residents and departments what is complete and what is still due. Heads of department and administrators get department-wide views of theses, DRP, publications, assessments and monthly authentication.

Questions colleges ask us
Didn't find your question? We are happy to walk you through it on a call.
Ask us anythingIs it compliant with PGMER-2023?
The logbook is structured around PGMER-2023: daily activities, monthly authentication, thesis, District Residency Programme, publications, assessments, certifications and the exam eligibility gates.
Can residents use it on their phones?
Yes. Residents log entries in the Methodder apps for Android and iOS or on the web, and faculty can review from anywhere.
Who authenticates entries?
Each resident's faculty supervisor reviews and authenticates their entries every month; heads of department see the status across the department.
Does it replace the paper logbook?
Yes. The digital record covers what the paper logbook held, keeps the verification history, and can be reviewed by the department and administrators.
Does it connect with the rest of Methodder?
It is part of the Methodder platform and shares residents, departments and postings with the LMS and ERP.
