The Methodder Face Attendance Device is a face recognition attendance system for colleges, supplied by Methodder as a managed Android device locked to the M Attendance app. Faculty sign in, pick the scheduled class and take attendance from the live camera or a few group photos of the room.
Every face is matched on the device itself. No photo, video frame or face template is uploaded: only the result of who was present reaches Methodder LMS, where it is recorded against the timetabled session and feeds the attendance percentage reports.
Because the device runs a single app and is managed remotely (MDM), there is nothing for staff to install or configure. Attendance keeps working on weak networks too: results wait on the device until the connection returns.

Do we need to buy and set up the hardware?
Methodder provides the device already configured and locked to M Attendance, and manages it remotely.
What if the Wi-Fi drops during class?
Attendance is kept on the device and sent once it reconnects.
Can faculty correct a mistake?
Yes. They review the absentee list before submitting and can mark students present or absent.
Does it need our LMS timetable?
It reads classes from Methodder LMS, so attendance is recorded against the scheduled session.
